Football Recap: Battle Ground Academy Starts Season with Victory at Home

Battle Ground Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past the Jackson Prep Patriots to the tune of 48-13.

Kaedyn Marable had a dynamite game, throwing for 293 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 96 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Max Curry, who picked up 191 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Looking ahead, Battle Ground Academy will challenge Columbia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson Prep, they will venture away from home to face off against Parklane Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
