San Marcos has gone a perfect 6-0 against Pacifica recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Royals will square off against the Tritons at 3:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for San Marcos and three for Pacifica.

Saturday just wasn't the day for San Marcos' offense. They fell 4-0 to Burroughs on Saturday.

San Marcos saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isa Malarkey, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Pacifica might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Ventura who claimed the real prize. The Tritons took a 19-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (ten), the Tritons still had to take the loss.

Pacifica's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for San Marcos, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Everything went San Marcos' way against Pacifica in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as San Marcos made off with a 15-3 win. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Tritons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
