Baseball Recap: Greenville Christian Comes Up Short

Greenville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverside Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-1 loss back in March.

Greenville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Riverside, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.

Greenville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside, they have already played their next contest, a 5-3 loss against Humphreys County on the 12th.
