Basketball Recap: Shanley Takes a Loss

Shanley lost against Horace back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Shanley Deacons were dealt a 92-55 loss at the hands of Horace. While losing is never fun, the Deacons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Horace are ranked sixth).

Shanley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Horace, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.

Coming up, Shanley will head out to face off against Sheyenne at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Horace, they will look to defend their home court on February 20th against Red River at 7:15 p.m.
