There's no place like home for Moose Lake/Willow River, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-64 victory over the Crosby-Ironton Rangers on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Crosby-Ironton's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Millsop, who went 9-for-14 on his way to 20 points and five rebounds. Crosby-Ironton is 2-1 when Millsop posts 15 or more points, but 8-14 otherwise. Jack Kovatovich was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Moose Lake/Willow River has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. Crosby-Ironton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15.
