Basketball Recap: London's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

London lost against Flour Bluff back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The London Pirates took a hard 44-29 fall against the Flour Bluff Hornets. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, London saw an underclassman step up: freshman Maddox Jennings posted seven points and four steals. Jennings is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played.

London moved to 12-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Flour Bluff, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

London will be playing in front of their home fans against Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carroll will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something London surely won't give up without a fight. As for Flour Bluff, they will head out on the road to take on Alice at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
