Basketball Recap: Franklin Piles Up the Points Against Sussex Central

Franklin can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 59-32 victory over the Sussex Central Tigers. The Broncos' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last five games.

Franklin's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Sussex Central, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will welcome Greensville County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
