Fillmore Central won the last time they faced Wilber-Clatonia and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wolverines.

Fillmore Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-21.

Ashlynn Childs had an outrageously good game as she had 28 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matchups.

Childs wasn't the only good servers: Fillmore Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. The Panthers are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Fillmore Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-18 record this season. As for Wilber-Clatonia, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-23.

Fillmore Central and Wilber-Clatonia will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers will take on rival Raymond Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Wilber-Clatonia is set to challenge their familiar foe Fairbury at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
