Basketball Game Preview: West Union Eagles vs. Ingomar Falcons

West Union is 0-10 against Ingomar since December of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

West Union is coming into the matchup on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. They came out on top against Regents by a score of 28-21 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Ingomar strolled past Walnut with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 61-45. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Wildcats are ranked 113th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Union's record is now 4-8. As for Ingomar, their record now sits at 13-1.

West Union was taken down by Ingomar 42-11 when the teams last played back in November. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Eagles were down 40-4.
