Basketball Recap: Laurel Highlands Takes a Loss

Laurel Highlands lost against Gateway back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Laurel Highlands Mustangs fell just short of the Gateway Gators by a score of 53-50. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Laurel Highlands lost, don't look at Aiden Black. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points. With that strong performance, Black is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Luke Martin was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Laurel Highlands' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Gateway, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
