Softball Recap: Ogilvie Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Ogilvie was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 7-1 to the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost nine in a row.

Ogilvie saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tatum McIlroy, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Ogilvie's record is now 2-2. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Ogilvie will venture away from home to square off against Rush City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, they have already played their next contest, an 11-2 defeat against Mora on the 15th.
