Softball Recap: North Oldham Comes Up Short

North Oldham lost against Pleasure Ridge Park back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs lost 17-5 to the Panthers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Oldham's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Oldham will square off against Portland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.77 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, they will challenge South Oldham at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dragons have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
