Volleyball Game Preview: Bellflower Buccaneers vs. South Pasadena Tigers

The Bellflower Buccaneers are taking a road trip to face off against the South Pasadena Tigers at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Bellflower came up short against Upland and fell 3-1.

Bellflower might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Upland: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 27-25, 28-26.

Meanwhile, South Pasadena didn't have quite enough to beat Catalina Foothills on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Bellflower suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for South Pasadena, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Bellflower came up short against South Pasadena when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Bellflower avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
