Basketball Recap: Logansport Takes a Loss

Logansport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Northwood Gators, falling 48-26. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-37 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jahari Mccoy, who posted eight points in addition to six assists and six steals. Landon Tinsley was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Logansport's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Northwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Logansport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwood, they will face off against Glenmora at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
