Basketball Recap: Greece Olympia Wins Going Away Against Eastridge

Greece Olympia hadn't done well against Eastridge recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Greece Olympia Spartans strolled past the Eastridge Lancers with points to spare, taking the game 84-70. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Lancers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 84-71 defeat.

Greece Olympia's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Eastridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Greece Olympia will be playing at home against Canandaigua Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Canandaigua Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Greece Olympia likes a good challenge. As for Eastridge, they will take on Irondequoit at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
