Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask NorthWood). They blew past the Wawasee Warriors 69-33 on Friday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 26 points or more this season.

The win (which was NorthWood's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Wawasee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. NorthWood will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Bend St. Joseph at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Wawasee, they and Prairie Heights will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Wawasee is facing Prairie Heights at the right time seeing as Prairie Heights is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
