Volleyball Game Preview: Yuma Catholic Shamrocks vs. ALA - Ironwood Warriors

After both having extra time off, the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks and the ALA - Ironwood Warriors will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Yuma Catholic will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Yuma Catholic got the win against Chino Valley by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Yuma Catholic took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 25-13.

Meanwhile, ALA - Ironwood lost 3-0 to Gilbert Christian on Wednesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12, 25-10.

Yuma Catholic's win bumped their record up to 31-4. As for ALA - Ironwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-18.

Everything went Yuma Catholic's way against ALA - Ironwood in their previous matchup back in September of 2019, as Yuma Catholic made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Shamrocks repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
