Volleyball Recap: Southeast Alamance Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northwood last Wednesday, Southeast Alamance came back down to earth. The Stallions lost 3-0 to the Western Alamance Warriors on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Stallions in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Southeast Alamance was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 28-26, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Southeast Alamance still got an impressive performance from Sophia Carney, who had 14 digs and one assist.

Southeast Alamance's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Western Alamance, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Southeast Alamance wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Northwood on the 3rd. As for Western Alamance, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Eastern Alamance on the 4th.
