Hermiston took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Pasco with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hermiston was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Sageview lost 3-0 to Southridge on Thursday.

Sageview took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, 25-20.

Sageview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Hermiston, they pushed their record up to 9-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Hermiston took their victory against Sageview in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Lobos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
