Baseball Recap: Page Takes a Loss

Page was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Northern Guilford Nighthawks, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Nighthawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 last Tuesday.

Page saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bo Cooke, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Page's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Northern Guilford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Page wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Grimsley on the 8th. As for Northern Guilford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Western Guilford on the 9th.
