Football Recap: John Glenn Comes Up Short at Home Against Miller Place

John Glenn unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They and the Miller Place Panthers were almost perfectly matched up on Saturday, but the Knights suffered a 34-33 defeat. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. John Glenn will square off against rival Babylon at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Miller Place is set to challenge their familiar foe Bayport-Blue Point at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
