Football Game Preview: Jesuit Blue Jays vs. McDonogh 35 Roneagles + Official Tickets

The Jesuit Blue Jays will square off against the McDonogh 35 Roneagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Jesuit turned things around against Warren Easton on Thursday. They walked away with a 45-36 win over the Fighting Eagles. The Blue Jays pushed the score to 42-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Fighting Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDonogh 35). They claimed a resounding 56-18 victory over Eleanor McMain. The win continues a trend for the Roneagles in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.

McDonogh 35's record now sits at 7-3. As for Jesuit, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Jesuit ended up a good deal behind McDonogh 35 when the teams last played back in August of 2015, losing 21-5. Can the Blue Jays avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
