Soccer Recap: Lucerne Valley Finishes Even with Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy

For the first time this season, Lucerne Valley was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Lucerne Valley's draw gives them a new season record of 5-4-1. Meanwhile, Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy's record is now 4-5-2.

Lucerne Valley will square off against Summit Leadership Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, they will host Excelsior Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
