Softball Recap: Skipstone Academy Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Covington Academy

Skipstone Academy faced Covington Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Warriors blew past the Bulldogs 13-5. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

The team relied heavily on Aubrey Hardin, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Ella Evans was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.
