Basketball Recap: Dixon Takes a Loss

Dixon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Boone Vikings. The Dukes & Duchesses were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2025.

Dixon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for North Boone, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixon will take on Alleman at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Boone, they will welcome Harvard at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
