Softball Recap: Desert Oasis Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Desert Oasis's offense. They came up short against the Centennial Bulldogs on Friday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Diamondbacks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Desert Oasis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Veyda Simon, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Desert Oasis' loss dropped their record down to 9-7-1. As for Centennial, their record is now 13-11.

Looking ahead, Desert Oasis will welcome Southeast Career Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Roadrunners will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Diamondbacks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Centennial, they will venture away from home to take on Bishop Gorman at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
