Volleyball Game Preview: Alanson Vikings vs. Mackinaw City Comets

Alanson is 1-6 against Mackinaw City since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m.

Alanson came up short against Maplewood Baptist Academy on Monday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Mackinaw City posted their closest win since October 4th on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past Mackinac Island 2-1.

Alanson's loss dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Mackinaw City, their victory bumped their record up to 12-14-4.

Alanson couldn't quite get it done against Mackinaw City in their previous meeting on October 4th as they fell 2-0. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
