Volleyball Recap: Morehead Takes a Loss

Morehead lost against Bartlett Yancey back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Buccaneers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morehead took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12, 25-14.

Morehead's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bartlett Yancey, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morehead will challenge Martinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bartlett Yancey, they will square off against Roxboro Community at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
