Volleyball Recap: Cimarron Bluejays vs. Dodge City Demons

Cimarron lost against Dodge City back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bluejays took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Demons.

Cimarron was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Jaylee Schilling and Taegan Eskam, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Quinn Campbell and Emery May, who contributed five assists each. Alyssa Bogner controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Among those leading the charge was Marika Jarosinka-Hassa, who had 15 assists and six digs. Piper Mellinger also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.
