Basketball Recap: Manor Takes a Loss

Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Hutto Hippos and fell 89-34. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-24.

Jacob Bell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hutto, going 9 of 15 on his way to 25 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. Bell has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 15 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronald Willis, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Manor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Hutto, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Round Rock Westwood the next time they take the court. Manor will host Round Rock Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Hutto will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th.
