Soccer Game Preview: Dillon vs. Waccamaw

Dillon hasn't had much luck against Waccamaw recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Dillon Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Waccamaw Warriors at 6:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Dillon faced off against Loris on Tuesday. Dillon fell just short of Loris by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Waccamaw, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on Georgetown with a sharp 6-1 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Warriors have won six games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Georgetown with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Colby Constable (2), Jason Green-Adams (2), Brody Nist, and Charlie Withington.

Waccamaw's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Dillon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
