Baseball Recap: Yonkers Comes Up Short on the Road Against East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley]

Yonkers had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] Titans on Tuesday, falling 19-12. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Melvin Guzman led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Davis Howell, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley]'s record is now 3-1.
