The Alcoa Tornadoes will take on the Loudon Redskins at 5:05 p.m. on Thursday. Alcoa is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
On Tuesday, Alcoa got the win against Austin-East by a conclusive 18-1. Considering the Tornadoes have won 15 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mason Martin was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Josh Simpson was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Cory Hatcher was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Alcoa kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Loudon fell victim to Heritage and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mountaineers, falling 10-0.
Loudon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Moore, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
Alcoa's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Loudon, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
Loudon's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Alcoa has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .491. It's a different story for Loudon, though, as they've only averaged .343. Will they be able to contain Alcoa's hitters?
Alcoa took their victory against Loudon in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 7-1 score. Will the Tornadoes repeat their success, or do the Redskins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
