 The San Leandro Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Oakland Tech Bulldogs at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. San Leandro is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9  runs per game  this season.
 In what's become a running theme this season, San Leandro gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Hayward  a   16-0 shutout. While fans of San Leandro might be used to big wins, the 16-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
  Marina Sacrey made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Sacrey has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in ten consecutive pitching appearances. Sacrey was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jade Orta, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Vanessa Rojas, who  went 1-for-4 with four  RBI and two  runs.
 Meanwhile, Oakland Tech didn't have quite enough to beat Oakland back in March and fell  3-1. Oakland Tech has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 San Leandro pushed their record up to 10-5 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.8 runs per game. As for Oakland Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
