Football Recap: Eight Straight Home Victories for St. Francis

St. Francis won the last time they faced Whitney and things went their way on Thursday too. The Troubadours blew past the Wildcats 26-6. The result was nothing new for the Troubadours, who have now won five matches by 20 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Natalia Zitelli, who rushed for 122 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Her longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain her lofty yards per carry total.

St. Francis' win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.4 points over those games. As for Whitney, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-3.
