Basketball Recap: Orofino Takes a Loss

Orofino lost against Priest River back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Orofino Maniacs fell 66-59 to the Priest River Spartans.

Orofino now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Priest River, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Orofino and Clarkston will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Orofino is facing Clarkston at the right time seeing as Clarkston is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Priest River, they will head out on the road to take on Kellogg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Priest River knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Kellogg likes a good challenge.
