After a string of three wins, Peachtree Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Brookwood Broncos an easy 66-40 victory. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Peachtree Ridge's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Brookwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Peachtree Ridge is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against The First Academy on Monday. As for Brookwood, they will take on Rockdale County in a tournament on Friday. The Broncos will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
