Basketball Recap: Bryer Kinsley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jones County over Sully Buttes

Jones County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 55-41 fall against the Sully Buttes Chargers. If the Coyotes were looking for revenge after losing 54-53 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jones County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bryer Kinsley, who posted ten points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Dawson Hunt, who put up eight points and five boards.

Jones County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Sully Buttes, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Jones County has already played their next matchup, a 51-38 victory against Herreid/Selby on the 8th. As for Sully Buttes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 74-50 win against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] on the 7th.
