Bacon Academy won against Putnam on Wednesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Bobcats didn't even let the Norwich RVT Warriors on the board, marking the Bobcats' second-straight 10-0 shutout. Considering the Bobcats have won six games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bacon Academy pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Norwich RVT, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bacon Academy will challenge Griswold at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Norwich RVT, they will square off against Grasso Tech at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
