Orono is 8-2 against Dexter since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Riots will look to defend their home field against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Orono headed into their last game having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Central let them put that streak behind them. The Riots were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Red Devils on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Riots in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won six in a row.

Kason Bagley made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2025. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Calum Bryant was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Matthew Fluty, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Orono always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Dexter posted their closest victory since June 12, 2025 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Bangor Christian.
The team relied heavily on Noah Kain, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Cupero, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
Dexter's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Orono, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
