Volleyball Recap: DSST: College View Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

DSST: College View won the last time they faced Denver South and things went their way on Monday too. The Wolves came out on top against the Ravens by a score of 3-1. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

DSST: College View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-20, 25-15, 25-15.

Diego Moreno paced DSST: College View's offense, picking up 17 kills. Moreno got some help from Manuel Munoz and his 21 assists. Finally, Caden Mabasa kept DSST: College View's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

DSST: College View's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Denver South, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5.

DSST: College View and Denver South will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wolves will challenge rival Rangeview at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Denver South is set to square off against their familiar foe Vista PEAK Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
