Baseball Game Preview: Meadowbrook Colts vs. Crooksville Ceramics

For the second straight game, Meadowbrook will face off against Crooksville. The Colts will head out on the road to take on the Ceramics at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meadowbrook is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

While Meadowbrook's victory against Crooksville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Colts had just enough and edged out the Ceramics 3-2 on Monday. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Ceramics recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meadowbrook secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Braylon Lowery, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Crooksville's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 2.8 runs. As for Meadowbrook, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
