Basketball Recap: Paxton Victorious

Paxton lost to Hitchcock County back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Paxton Tigers came out on top against the Hitchcock County Falcons by a score of 51-43.

Paxton can attribute much of their success to Maddex Mcconnell, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Walker, who had nine points.

Paxton's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Hitchcock County, their record now sits at 10-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Maywood/Hayes Center the next time they take the court. Paxton will head out to face Maywood/Hayes Center at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Hitchcock County will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
