Soccer Game Preview: Dracut vs. Weston

The Dracut Middies will head out to challenge the Weston Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Dracut came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Tewksbury Memorial. The defeat continues a trend for Dracut in their meetings with Tewksbury Memorial: they've now lost five in a row.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Weston and Cambridge Rindge & Latin, and Cambridge Rindge & Latin kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats came up short against the Falcons on Thursday, falling 6-0.

Dracut's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Weston, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-4.
