Volleyball Recap: Fairview's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Fairview waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Richmond Heights Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fairview was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-6, 25-14.

Leading Fairview to victory were Molly Flynt and Josie Bobko. Flynt had nine digs and six aces, while Bobko had ten digs. That's the most aces Flynt has posted over her last eight matches.

Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Richmond Heights, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
