Soccer Game Preview: Redlands East Valley vs. Cajon

Redlands East Valley and Cajon are an even 4-4-2 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long. The Redlands East Valley Wildcats will be playing at home against the Cajon Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Friday, Redlands East Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Ramona and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, 2025 welcomed Cajon with a 4-1 loss courtesy of Bishop Amat on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Lancers are ranked 23rd).

Cajon's loss dropped their record down to 10-5-2. As for Redlands East Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2-2.

Redlands East Valley skirted past Cajon 2-1 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Does Redlands East Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cajon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
