Softball Recap: Fowlerville Comes Up Short

After flying high against DeWitt last Friday, Fowlerville came back down to earth. The Gladiators came up short against the Williamston Hornets on Wednesday, falling 9-3. The loss continues a trend for the Gladiators in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

Fowlerville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Williamston, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Fowlerville will head out to face off against Howell at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Gladiators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Highlanders have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Williamston, they will square off against Eastern at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
