Softball Recap: Knightstown Takes a Loss

Hagerstown hit Knightstown with a five-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers lost 12-2 to the Tigers. The Panthers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Knightstown saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lanee Swindell, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Knightstown now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Hagerstown, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
