Softball Recap: Russellville Golden Tigers vs. Pell City Panthers        
        
		
            
 Russellville was the  6-3 winner over Pell City when they last played one another  back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Russellville Golden Tigers fell victim to a  tough 9-2 defeat at the hands of the Pell City Panthers  on Friday.
  Addison Holcomb was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 On Pell City's side,  Savannah McGaha and  Ally Mosley dominated on the mound. McGaha  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits, while  Mosley  pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits. Mosley has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Nyla Treptau was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.  Reagan Tarver was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Russellville has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 18-17-1 record  this season. As for Pell City, they pushed their record up to 26-14 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home.
 Russellville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  4-2  win vs. Winfield on the 20th. Pell City has also already played their next game,  an  8-0  victory against Lexington on the 20th.
