Soccer Recap: South Fremont Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for South Fremont's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Wendell Trojans on Saturday. While losing is never fun, South Fremont can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Wendell are ranked fifth).

South Fremont's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Wendell, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Looking ahead, South Fremont will face off against American Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Fremont will need to watch out since American Falls have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups. As for Wendell, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Sugar-Salem on the 13th.
